In 2004 Celebrations! enthusiastically paid out over $40,000 to civic
groups, fraternal organizations and church groups all over the Midwest
for helping staff our picnics, gaming and festival events.
Your
group can be a big part of the this ever expanding success story!
Celebrations! NEEDS YOU! We need help almost every weekend throughout
the year doing picnics and casino parties. It’s a great way
to earn the money your group needs and have an even better time doing
it!
What do you have to do? Read on.
On the day of the event, our Party Managers and Event Supervisors meet
with the volunteer group approximately two hours before the event to make
assignments and give detailed instructions. In some instances, we
may even have your group arrive a day ahead of the event for larger picnics.
Assignments include running game booths; helping prepare and serve food;
serving snack items; supervising children’s activities; running wacky
sports tournaments and attending inflatable rides. An average event is three
to four hours long. Lunch, drinks and Collectors T-shirts are usually
provided for your entire group during the event.
After the event, the group helps break down the equipment and reload the
truck. A typical takedown is usually less than 90 minutes.
DONATION $DOLLAR$
The amount your group receives is based on the size of the event, the
number of activities and the length of the event. For an average size
party, the donation amount can be over $1,000. This amount will
fluctuate depending on the requirements for each event. In 2003,
checks totaling well over $10,000 were issued to Northwest High School
alone. If you have the dependable people, we have the opportunities.
